Ida'a Idea

Happy Winter!
This is my very favorite of my mom’s four children’s books: Ida’s Idea. I love the snow dancing woodcuts. The portrait of idea was inspired by Miriam, my close friend at “the free school” Community Workshop School in 1st and 2nd grade on NYC’s upper west side.  And the name Ida of course comes from Wendy's mom.
